About this artwork
The face rises like a living construction, made of walls, lines, and connections reminiscent of an architectural plan. It is neither a figure nor a space, but an inhabited consciousness. The work proposes the idea of a house with its own thoughts, where intelligence arises from the place itself: a fusion between the human and the structural, between memory and algorithm.
I am a self-taught painter. I employ techniques that fuse abstraction, symbolism, and conceptualization, creating imaginary characters and faces that emerge from a creative anarchy. My work invites an open and subjective interpretation; I like to convey a sense of searching through my art, and I am interested in the diverse emotions that awaken profound reflections in each observer.
Some paintings are born from a mental image, others from an impulse, others from an idea. My works speak of figures, gestures, and symbols. Sometimes there are people. Other times, branches. Or memories that cannot be named. I work with what I have close at hand or with images that don't exist. Sometimes the painting isn't beautiful, but it creates emotions and different points of view. I am interested in identity, the passage of time, and the imperfect beauty of the everyday. Each piece reflects a part of my inner world, which I try to discover.
