About this artwork
In this piece, I poured my passion into vivid layers of oil, capturing the vibrant dance of red and yellow tulips against lush mountains. Through expressive fingerstrokes, I wanted to evoke the joyous energy of nature’s bloom, bringing warmth and vitality into any space it inhabits. This painting invites you to breathe in the fresh air of endless spring and feel the rejuvenating spirit of the valley.
This painting is a part of a series I'm currently… working on - 'Valleys of Flowers' around the world.
Its inspired from the tulip valleys of kashmir.
With every art I create I seek to enchant the viewer into imagining my painting as a 'window with a view'!

I am Richa Dalmia- a contemporary Landscape painter based out of Kolkata, India. With every art I create I seek to enchant the viewer into imagining my painting as a ‘window with the view!’
An M.Sc. in Engineering Project Management from University of Leeds, UK, I have worked in construction and other industries, and regarded art only as a hobby. In 2010 I decided to follow my calling and paint full time. I trained for years under renowned artists in Bengal, adapting varied artforms, techniques and mediums, before I developed my original and distinctive personal style– ‘finger painting with oils.’ My art embraces my passion for travel, and my love for nature in the most profound way.
