About this artwork
A work made with a knife, started in 2019 before covid and then forgotten by the painter. He took it over in 2023 and finally signed it. A sweet dream in an imaginary fairyland. The answer may be in these tender and diffuse gleams capable of bringing back memories.
This work (oil on canvas made with a knife) is now part of a series devoted to the mysteries of our environment and our universe. Water is life, earth our home, air our survival.
The… fires warm us, distress us and kill us. They can arise from the bowels of our globe, from our imagination, from our sufferings and our faults.
From our creation to our disappearance, all these elements will undoubtedly remain mysteries, but they are our environment and participate in life.

RICHARD DUBURE – Professional painter.
Richard was born in 1952 in Paris. He has lived in Ussel (Corrèze) since 1979.
It was naturally through contact with his father Gilbert, a painter, that he began to work on painting and quickly asserted his personality. He presented his first work to the public in 1973. Since then, he has exhibited regularly in various artistic events in France and abroad.
