About this artwork
Pine alley in Tuscany in Italy. This painting was created during a trip to Italy while on holiday in Tuscany. The bright colors - orange and blue reflect the evening atmosphere in the "Parco Naturale" near Principina al Mare. Many of the motifs in the pictures are created during the holidays. My father often created the pictures on site as watercolors or as Polaroid photos. These templates are then created at home in Zurich, if possible on the balcony,…

The late Richard Friedt was an artist based in Switzerland whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. His distinctive and vivid landscapes, cityscapes, still-lifes, abstractions, and figurative works were often inpsired by the scenery of Spain, Ticino, France, and Italy. Friedt's unique style and use of color was translated through acrylics, oils, and watercolors on synthetic board.
