About this artwork
A small building, a kiosk, a mysterious, interesting shape, at night, a few windows or door surfaces are lit up, you can't see anything inside, the fading glow of light continues palely on the ground, the observer, who is behind a pane of glass, protected from the raindrops beading off, the state of matter the water is in at that moment.
In this painting I merge geometric rigor with realistic delicacy to capture the poetry of everyday life. The… oil paints allow me to convey depth and subtlety of the night scene, permeated with a mysterious, almost dreamy atmosphere. Vividly depicted drops of water seem to float in space, giving the mysterious scenery an unexpected beauty and fragility. This work is intended to evoke a feeling of reflection and calm in the viewer, a brief pause in the hectic world.
