Der Künstler entdeckte diese inspirierende Szenerie während seiner Wanderungen und wählte einen besonderen Standpunkt: eine Klippe hoch über der Calanque de Morgiou, zwischen Marseille und Cassis in der Provence.
Die Sonne ergießt ihr strahlendes Licht über die atemberaubende Landschaft aus… weißen Kalkfelsen, die sich majestätisch über dem tiefblauen Meer erheben.
