About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to realistically capture the inner fragility and emotions of people in dark moments. Using oil, watercolor, and charcoal, I combined shading and flowing water to depict the tension between protection and revelation. On canvas, I worked with charcoal and watercolor, while painting the raindrops with oil on acrylic glass and attaching them to the canvas. This painting brings an intense, contemplative energy to any space and invites…
reflection on human vulnerability. The title was inspired by a song by the Italian singer Giovanotti, whose lyrics are a wonderful fit for this oeuvre.
