About this artwork
It takes effort to break free from things. Despite all the exertion, a deep sense of satisfaction spreads once one has broken through the comfort zone. An indescribable feeling of well-being takes hold. This bliss is reflected in the facial expression. The effort and exertion are visualized through the vibrant color red and the free brushstrokes, which depict an almost explosive breaking of boundaries.
