« I create mixed-media art that blends urban energy with nature's calm. »
Rinalds Vanadziņš (1986) is an award-winning urban painter and graffiti artist whose creative roots lie in hip-hop culture. Known under the pseudonyms RINIS ONE and HAWK, he has explored both the rap and graffiti scenes before focusing on expressive painting. His work reflects a deep emotional journey inspired by the rhythm of city life and the calm of nature. Currently, Rinalds works as a scenic painter at the Latvian National Opera, where he refines his mastery of large-scale decorative painting. For over a decade, he has developed a distinctive approach using acrylics and mixed techniques, creating each piece entirely by hand without stencils. For Rinalds, painting is a meditative process — a dialogue between instinct and emotion — resulting in artworks that convey the search for freedom and authenticity.
