It captures the beauty hidden in the wreckage, where nature reclaims what is lost by transforming the waste and decay into something breathtaking. The cascading textures mimic a waterfall’s fluidity, drawing you deeper into the unknown. It’s a reminder that even in the depths, where light barely reaches, there is beauty waiting to be discovered.

Rishika Sahgal is an Indian abstract mixed media artist creating immersive landscapes that explore memory, time, and the emotional resonance of land. A graduate of the University of Westminster (BA Hons, Fine Art Mixed Media), her practice is rooted in textured abstraction and an intuitive, process-led approach.
Working with layered pigments and natural materials, Sahgal builds richly tactile surfaces that echo the fragmentation, erosion, and quiet regeneration found in nature. Her atmospheric compositions unfold organically, inviting contemplation and evoking the subtle histories and emotional traces embedded within landscapes. Through nuanced shifts in colour, texture, and depth, her paintings create meditative spaces that connect the physical environment with inner experience.
Sahgal’s works are held in private collections across United Kingdom, United States, and India.
