About this artwork
In this portrait, I wanted to capture more than the likeness of a cow — I wanted to reveal its quiet strength and grounded spirit. There’s a deep calm in its gaze, a sense of endurance that feels both gentle and powerful.
I began with a base of modelling paste, building a textured surface. Using a limited palette of earthy browns and muted tones, I focused on emotion over detail — letting texture, shadow, and tone carry the story. To me, this piece… is about resilience, presence, and the quiet dignity that often goes unseen.
