About this artwork
This original horse portrait is an acrylic painting created using a limited palette of black, white, blue, and pink. Before applying paint, I build texture with modelling paste, allowing the surface to guide my brushstrokes and create a sense of depth and movement.
The horse is painted in profile with a calm, grounded presence. By reducing colour and detail, I focused on emotion and stillness, letting simplicity carry the feeling of the work.
