About this artwork
I am a dreamer, a fantastist, and this series was created to convey the magical in otherwise ordinary scenes. It is designed not to be realistic, but for you to notice something new with each look, different angles, different lighting and even your emotions. This series is inspired by the nature at its finest. No sunrise is ever the same, and it changes minute by minute. We often bemoan a cloudy day, but the best sunrises are not the ones with the…
clearest skies, but the ones with clouds, mist, and atmospheric changes as this is where the colour show really begins. I wanted to convery this inspiration into this series, to allow us all that break from the difficulties of reality, connect with our emotions and see the beauty in the things we might consider to be unwanted.
This colour palette reminds me of something darkly whimsical, a fantasy world perhaps that we have yet to explore within ourselves. It's myterious, potentially dangerous, but that is what is what is beautiful.
