The title "SANSUI" means MOUNTAINS AND WATER. Landscape. Mountains in the mist. The places left blank on paper represent the emptiness of the world. Impermanence, the ephemeral and fragile aspect of everything. In this work, I explored the raw power of acrylic in black and white, mixing expressionism and semi-figurative abstraction.
