About this artwork
In this painting, I embrace the fluidity and ethereal qualities of reflection on water, merging impressionistic strokes with the vivid, emotional intensity of fauvism. The work explores the intersection of the tangible and the ephemeral, capturing a fleeting moment where light and color blur the lines between reality and abstraction. It's meant to evoke a sense of serene contemplation and to inspire the viewer to find beauty in transience and transformation.… Bringing this piece into a home infuses the space with a gentle, meditative energy, conducive to introspection and peace.
Robert Nizamov was born in 1970 in Kazan. He studied at the Kazan Art School named after N.I. Feshin, then at the Surikov Art Institute in Moscow, specializing in monumental painting under E.N. Maksimov. During these years, he worked on large-scale projects and explored the expressive potential of form, color, and composition.
Since 1987, Nizamov has participated in exhibitions held by the Union of Artists of the Republic of Tatarstan. He also began working on monumental murals in Tatarstan and Chuvashia, and later in Moscow and other cities.
In 2001, he joined the Moscow Union of Artists. Throughout his career, he has combined mural work with exhibitions, continually exploring new techniques and artistic approaches.
