About this artwork
In this work, I combine traditional photography with digital creation to generate a modern, contemplative vision of urban beauty. From a moving vehicle, I photographed a passing streetscape of shops and buildings using long exposures. I believe the result is very successful because it reflects both the character of the original scene and the dynamism of the journey. Using a special technique, I layered several hundred images within a single three-second…
exposure, creating a unique texture and a subtle blur.
