About this artwork
The morning light paints the promise of what can still be. The air, crossed by the color of the rising sky, evokes the lightness of an empty space to be filled: a metaphor for a life in which everything is still possible.
At the beginning of the day, you can still choose: what to do, what to think, how to act, what to build, which emotion to follow.
Between the vegetation and the flow of the river, that light that makes its way is the true beginning.… It is a blank canvas, a new chance.
It announces balance and beauty for a new day that renews itself. The cycle repeats itself, but leaves open the possibility of acting differently, bringing change rather than simple repetition.
It is the silent energy of enthusiasm: the self-realization that arises every time we choose to change our pattern.
Roberta Crepaldi is a self-taught painter, trained in geometry and an artistic career that began in Venice. She uses oil and acrylic techniques to mix figurative and abstract art in an expressionist and gestural language, characterized by extemporaneous brush strokes and bold signs. With her landscapes of memory and fluctuating chromatic variations, Crepaldi expresses an interior vision halfway between dreamlike and direct observation, evoking emotions born from interactions with nature and the rhythms of life.
