About this artwork
Taken in the center of France in 2022, this photograph was made with ML during one of those calm moments where everything aligned — the light, the movement, the reflection. I’m drawn to the way the white dress almost breaks apart into the water, while still holding a strong presence. The scattered bubbles give the image a quiet intensity, like a breath being held. Nothing here is staged or altered: it’s just one of those frames where the world feels…
momentarily unfamiliar.
The artwork is a giclée print on premium acid-free archival bright paper for long-lasting conservation. It is facemounted under 1/8 in satin acrylic (P-99 type).

« I switched from science to art to make people dream. I love to make reality look surreal in order to challenge the mind and be more open to the world around us. »
Robin Cerutti is a prize-winning photographer based in Canada whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Mexico, France, Belgium, and the United States. He employs photography as a medium to escape and challenge the first perception of reality. While Cerutti does not convey any outright theories in his art, his credits his physicist background as playing a major role in his artistic expression. His goal is reached is his compositions cause a "dreamy state" in viewers.
