About this artwork
Made in summer 2022 in Voiron, France, this image is one of those rare moments where everything softens — the light, the colors, the edges of things. I like how the water stretches the figure into something tender and almost painted, without losing its presence. There’s no trick here, just a moment that felt quiet and strange enough to hold on to.

« I switched from science to art to make people dream. I love to make reality look surreal in order to challenge the mind and be more open to the world around us. »
Robin Cerutti is a prize-winning photographer based in Canada whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Mexico, France, Belgium, and the United States. He employs photography as a medium to escape and challenge the first perception of reality. While Cerutti does not convey any outright theories in his art, his credits his physicist background as playing a major role in his artistic expression. His goal is reached is his compositions cause a "dreamy state" in viewers.
