About this artwork
This photograph was selected from over 1,000 limited edition submissions by Singulart's expert jury, including a curator from MoMA and the editorial director of Galerie Perrotin. The piece is hand-signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Genevieve -1 is one of the first picture of the Mirror serie shot in Montréal in summer 2012.
In the mirror serie I use the total reflection in the water of the white pool to work on creating a picture… that is surreal but looks real.
This picture was the first one of the serie to be hanged in Art Galeries. It s been exhibited in Montreal, Miami, Paris and Brussels. The large editions on Dibond are sold out but there are still other formats available.

Robin Cerutti is a prize-winning photographer based in Canada whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Mexico, France, Belgium, and the United States. He employs photography as a medium to escape and challenge the first perception of reality. While Cerutti does not convey any outright theories in his art, his credits his physicist background as playing a major role in his artistic expression. His goal is reached is his compositions cause a "dreamy state" in viewers.
