About this artwork
This photograph is part of my Mirror series, an exploration of reflections, identity, and the interplay between reality and illusion. Through careful composition and attention to light, I capture moments where surfaces become portals to alternate perspectives. Each image in this series invites viewers to question what they see and consider the multiplicity of perceptions that exist simultaneously. My work challenges the boundaries between the tangible…
and the reflected, creating a contemplative space for introspection and discovery.

« I switched from science to art to make people dream. I love to make reality look surreal in order to challenge the mind and be more open to the world around us. »

He employs photography as a medium to escape and challenge the first perception of reality. While Cerutti does not convey any outright theories in his art, his credits his physicist background as playing a major role in his artistic expression. His goal is reached is his compositions cause a "dreamy state" in viewers.
