About this artwork
ML 0796 was photographed in France in summer 2022. It is part of a mirror series that uses total reflection at the air-water interface to deconstruct the scenery.
In this underwater dreamscape, I captured the ethereal grace of a figure navigating through a shimmering aquatic realm. The play of light and distorted reflections evokes fluid motion and unfolding mystery. This artwork channels an enigmatic, serene energy, infusing any space with peace… and introspective wonder. The subject seems to pass through her own self-portal.
