About this artwork
I don't have many words to describe the joy that the garden conveys to me at its most spectacular moment, as I desire it. The garden is the place where I spend my time, where I glance when my eyes ask for a break and my mind wants to dream, to put a stop to my restless mind. I paint gardens with the same pleasure with which I look at daffodils, hyacinths, the cheerful globes of Allium ceps, the dwarf and bold tufts of the grape hyacinths, the multicolored…
primroses and the splashes of forget-me-nots and bellflowers. I hope I have put them all in the fever of longing for spring in this painting in which I remembered THE GARDEN.

Roxana Soos is an experienced artist whose work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions internationally. Passionate about art ever since she was a kid, Soos developed her current practice painting large abstract landscapes and floral works. In an impressionist style, she favors bright color palettes of pinks, purples, and blues, and aims to convey poetic scenarios and emotion through each piece.
