About this artwork
I began developing this work in the spring of 2025 as a reflection on the lifecycle of human systems — families, organizations, economies, nations. The work is a vivid and optimistic take on the ravages and renewals of time, which is a consistent theme in my work. Metamorphosis and life after death are foundations of my interrogations, and this 40 work series brings these themes to full, light-hearted, expression.
