About this artwork
I was inspired by the delicate balance between love and resilience. The sharp spines are defense mechanism by the heart shaped cactus. Cactus paddles are resilient, but also sensitive to predators, making me think of the contrast between strength and vulnerability and yet how these qualities coexist in many of us.
