24-carat gold & broken glass
Gold was formed by explosions in space and brought to our planet by meteorites billions of years ago.
The first form of glass was created by lightning striking sand at very high temperatures, melting grains of sand into glass.
Gold and glass represent the primal forces of the universe and the earth. Gypsum and marble powder create surfaces of calm and balance.
Combined with resin, 24-karat gold and glass are arranged… to create works that exude exclusivity, elegance, and value. This combination is an energetic statement, reflecting light and shadow. Light influences are directed and amplified. It leads to the limits of perception, where fantastic things lie.
Artwork ready to hang, no frame required, the edges are gilded, painted and sealed with resin.
My works are featured in public, private and corporate collections worldwide.
