About this artwork
I created this piece during a quiet moment of reflection, letting intuition guide each layer of color and movement. My work is rooted in mindfulness and presence — I paint as a way to slow time, to observe emotion as it unfolds, and to translate that experience into something tangible and alive.
As I worked on this piece, I focused on balance: the relationship between calm and energy, stillness and motion. I wanted the viewer to feel both grounded… and inspired — as if the painting is breathing with them.
Every mark, texture, and transition in this artwork reflects a real moment in my life, captured in paint. I don’t follow strict rules when I create; instead, I listen closely to what the piece needs. The result is something honest, expressive, and deeply personal.
I hope that this artwork becomes a place of pause for whoever lives with it — a visual reminder to return to the present moment and find beauty there.
Ryan Beal is a contemporary visual artist whose background in fine arts entrepreneurship and aviation deeply informs his work. He primarily works with acrylics and mixed media creating layered atmospheric compositions that explore presence movement and emotional depth. His intuitive process allows each piece to evolve organically guided by feeling rather than rigid structure.
Ryan’s artistic philosophy centers on mindfulness and the power of the present moment. He describes his approach as "wild reverence" the balance between calm and energy stillness and motion. Through texture light and subtle movement his work invites viewers to slow down breathe and reconnect with themselves.
As a business owner student pilot and father Ryan draws constant inspiration from lived experience shared moments with his family and the shifting perspectives found in both flight and everyday life. His art is not meant to be simply observed but felt offering a quiet space for reflection and connection.
