About this artwork
This painting was created as a study of intimacy, commitment, and the quiet emotional space that exists just before a life-changing decision. Rather than depicting a specific narrative, I focused on gesture — the closeness of faces, the weight of hands, and the stillness that appears when two people recognize something meaningful together.
The work was inspired by public imagery and cultural moments surrounding love and devotion, interpreted through… my own emotional lens rather than direct representation. I intentionally kept the palette soft and restrained, allowing expression and touch to carry the story instead of explicit detail.
This piece has since left my studio as part of a private gesture and is no longer available for sale.
