About this artwork
In this work, the interplay of natural textures, subtle gold accents, and Japanese handmade paper, incorporated into the composition, unfolds, creating a tranquil, almost meditative atmosphere. The abstract forms remain open to interpretation, hinting at a visual world beyond the unambiguous. Between materiality and restraint, a serene depth emerges, where the visible always alludes to something concealed.
Note on framing
The artwork is offered… in a delicate gold frame. The close-up shows this frame. Images with different frames are for illustrative purposes only.
As a freelance artist, I live and work in northern Germany. My passion lies in abstract art in its various forms and styles. My works, created spontaneously (and always stemming from a personal mood), range in size from small to medium and sometimes very large, up to 2 x 2 meters, using a wide variety of materials and techniques on canvas and paper.
My works capture snapshots of moments. They do not depict specific motifs or narrative stories, but rather open up a space in which color, form, and movement can be experienced directly.
The works are created in multiple layers (through superimposition and transparency), resulting in depth and dynamism. Lines, layers of color, and contrasts alternate, creating an interplay between deliberate design and intuitive process.
