About this artwork
In this work, I captured the powerful connection between nature and emotion with vibrant colors and dynamic forms. The blend of acrylic and collage adds depth and intensity, while the expressive figurative style brings the vibrant life of the landscape motif to life. This painting is intended to bring calm and energy into your home, like a fresh breeze full of hope and change.
« As the protagonist of a positive attitude towards life, I have respect for creation. The dignity of the individual and the protection of nature is very important to me. »
Sabina Bockemühl, born in Solingen in 1966, immersed herself in the world of art as a child, encouraged by her father. After graduating from high school, she followed her passion and continued her education at the art academies in Düsseldorf, Trier, Münster and Barcelona. Her studies with Prof. Markus Lüpertz and Ricci von Riggenbach were formative and influenced her style of free painting and portrait painting. Further training in urban art and trompe-l'oeil painting shaped her own style. In her works, Bockemühl combines neo-expressionism, abstract pop realism and urban street art to create a unique signature. Her art stands out through the interplay of two- and three-dimensional structures, bright colors and sculptural compositions. Whether she interprets landscapes or creates her famous character heads - her works invite you to rediscover the familiar and see the beauty of the unexpected.
