Ristonchi Castle with irises, my springtime interpretation of this stunning location near Florence. The nature and enchanting landscape of Tuscany, where I live, are a constant inspiration! The rolling hills covered with vineyards and olive groves, and the white roads leading to farmhouses, villas, and hamlets—and of course, the cypress trees! Many of my watercolors were painted plein air, while others are created later in the studio, drawing inspiration… from the many sketches I make in my notebooks. This painting is sold unframed and unmatted.
Please note that watercolors should be framed behind glass and are enhanced with a passe-partout.
"Nature and the Tuscan landscape are a constant inspiration to me. I paint the beauty that surrounds us, conveying my emotions in the moment."
