"Life Between The Cracks" is a bold exploration into color, pattern, and form, weaving together abstract geometric shapes with stylized floral motifs. The dominant colors are deep blues and purples, which are layered with vibrant oranges and yellows, creating a striking contrast between cool and warm tones. Each color is applied in bold, saturated blocks, giving the piece a dynamic and contemporary feel.
Samantha Malone is a contemporary abstract artist originally from Australia's beautiful east coast, currently residing in Tel Aviv, Israel with her family. She is a self-taught visual artist working in mixed media abstraction. Her artistic style is rooted in geometric abstraction with hints of cubist-inspired forms. She works by layering mediums and structured mark-making, which she combines methodically yet intuitively. Her art provokes sensations of unity and emotional flux, ultimately inviting viewers to find themselves in her abstract creations.
"I love abstract painting. It’s where I find the most joy and freedom. It’s my way of expressing my emotions and thoughts, turning shapes, colors, and layers into something meaningful. It’s both an escape and a way to make sense of the world, bringing clarity and a deep sense of fulfillment."
