About this artwork
This started as a picture I took during a family lunch in Annecy, France. There is a vibrant aura to this quaint side street, and I wanted to capture the lively essence and bustling charm. Emphasising the play of light and shadow, I meant this as an invitation to the viewer to feel the sun-drenched camaraderie at the outdoor café. I am deeply attracted to those moments of everyday joy and the enduring beauty of communal spaces.
