About this artwork
Born between the seas in Schleswig-Holstein, it is always a great pleasure for Sandra to be by the sea. Here it is early evening on the North Sea and the waves coming back from the tide, with their white crowns glittering in the sun, make their entrance. Soon they have reached the wet sandy beach. The sky and sea turn pink and orange in the slowly setting sun.
Original oil and acrylic painting on 100% cotton canvas stretched on premium quality wooden… frame. Painted with brush, spatula and my fingers. The artwork is not framed. Sandra only uses very high quality paints for her paintings such as Amsterdam or Schmincke, all non-toxic and no fading. Varnished with UV protection.
The sides are also painted and the painting can be hung directly on a wall with the hook installed on the back. The painting will be packed absolutely securely.

Sandra Gebhardt-Hoepfner is an experienced, internationally selling and exhibiting artist from Hamburg. Her paintings have been exhibited nationally and internationally in solo and group exhibitions, such as at 'World Art Dubai' in Dubai, United Emirates, in May 2024. In May 2025, Sandra won the Art Prize from the Progressus Art Award as 3rd place winner. She was published in 'International Artist Magazine 11/2023' under 'Master Painter Of The World'. Sandra grew up in Rendsburg in 1970. Her paintings invite us into the magic of nature. They move between reality and what the artist sees and feels when viewing.
She captures her motifs with her camera and then paints them in her studio there or in Hamburg with oil or acrylic paint on canvas using a brush and spatula.
Her works are found in private collections worldwide, including in Europe, the USA, Australia, Japan, India, England and Canada.
