In this evocative painting, cherry blossoms dance against a deep sky with blue hues, creating a scene full of contrasting emotions. Painted in low relief (bas-relief) using a special technique that almost looks like an impasto. Sarah created this original technique almost twenty years ago. Her paintings are also often sunken reliefs, typical only for works of art from ancient Egypt.

Sarah finds inspiration in Eastern philosophy and its approach rather than Western painting. Although originally trained as a classical painter, her main themes are metaphysical laws, the creation of reality and her purpose is to direct the viewer’s soul to these principles.
