About this artwork
In creating this piece, I sought to capture the contrast between natural beauty and human innovation. My brushstrokes gently blended realism with impressionist flair, using the tactile quality of oil to bring life to the woodpecker's vibrant plumage and the weathered telephone. I wanted to evoke a sense of timelessness, where the past whispers to the present. This artwork will imbue your space with an intriguing narrative that merges the wild with… the familiar.
