About this artwork
A nude woman occupies the center, her curves highlighted by powerful contrasts between luminous flesh and a dark background. The face turned toward the viewer retains an element of defiance, while the tense, arched body posture exudes an animal energy.
I wanted to question the relationship between sensuality and carnal intensity. The "heats" evoked are not only physical, but also psychological: the inner fire that burns, between desire and vital… power. The painting becomes a metaphor for the irreducible tension between instinct and consciousness.
