"Touch me", despite its substantial scale, is a deeply personal touch of the artist to the memories of the brightest events in his life. The canvas presents a deep, pulsating field of green, constructed with meticulous linear strokes that mimic nature's concentric growth patterns, drawing the viewer into its hypnotic depth.
Upon this vibrant landscape rests the artist's mark - a large-scale fingerprint, a unique signature of personal experience.… Within its intricate papillary lines unfolds a hidden masterpiece: the faintest whispers of lavender, lilac, lime and rose, which is associated with the barely perceptible nuances of the fragrance of blooming citrus in the warm evening air.

Serge Zalivatski, born in eastern Ukraine, works as a painter and sculptor, primarily on large canvases and sculptures, using Japanese Nihonga techniques, homemade mineral pigments, and leaf metals such as gold, silver, and palladium. His works are created in numerous, sometimes up to forty, layers, combining abstract, modern elements with classical traditions and an extraordinary variety of materials. In his paintings, he creates an atmosphere of harmony, longing, and meditative weightlessness that deeply touches the viewer.
