About this artwork
This painting I painted for exhibition in Art Academy in Moscow in 2013. The art curator concept was that each artist should create works that are related to artist's favorite painters in the past. Paolo Veronese is on of those painters. in my painting I presented now days Venice carnival with some elements or replicas from Veronese work. Anyway he is famous Renaissance painter based in Venice, known for extremely large history and religion and mythology…
paintings. With Titian and Tintoretto -this is great trio that dominated Venetian fine art of the Late Renaissance in the 16 th century.
