With the terrain slowly revealing itself beneath shifting light, there’s a beautiful flow to the greens and earthy textures, grounding the painting and adding a tactile or journeying element to the work, like moving through layers of land and light.
Layers of textured green and deep shadow guide the eye through a landscape both ancient and imagined. This piece evokes a hidden path, where light filters through memory and earth, and time feels suspended… in the stillness of nature’s breath.
The Between Earth and Sky series has an expansive, timeless feel with a sense of transition in the paintings. A meditative series exploring the quiet thresholds where land meets light, shadow meets dawn, and memory meets imagination. Each painting moves through layered textures and shifting hues, capturing moments suspended between solidity and air, presence and possibility.
Emerald Passage is painted on a cradled wood panel, I have left a small margin on all sides to look like a frame.
