About this artwork
I have captured my deepest emotions in this work, using oil paint to capture the essence of realism. The delicacy of the forms and the harmony of light and shadow seek to convey the depth of human feelings. When you observe it, you will feel an intimate and reflective connection that will fill your home with a serene and contemplative energy.
« In each person, I felt a part of me. When I look at the work, I do not see a final result, but the memory of a piece of my experience. »
Sheila González is an artist based in Spain whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United Arab Emirates, the United States, and Italy. Translating the mystery and expression of the woman is one of the main themes in her works. In addition, González is inspired by the aesethetics of black and white photography from the 1940s and 1950s. Through gesture and color, her impressionist compositions portray the relationships and interiors lives of her subjects.
