About this artwork
In this watercolor, I captured the power and warmth of an intense sunset. The vibrant reds and oranges convey a sense of passion and transformation. My aim was to immerse the viewer in this magical moment between day and night, which exudes both tranquility and energy – a powerful experience for any space.

Siegfried Krön works almost exclusively with watercolors and developed his artistic style under the tutelage of Professor Wolf Wrisch. His technique involves layering up to five coats of paint, masterfully utilizing the interplay of water and color to create captivating light effects. His style is characterized by natural motifs—primarily landscapes—and an atmospheric interplay of light, clouds, and sea. His works invite the viewer to feel part of the painting and convey a sense of freedom as well as a deep connection to nature.
