About this artwork
The COV19 Series revisits classic works adding the masks that have become a symbol of the epidemic to its protagonists, to re-signify them and try to open a reflection and leave testimony of the historical moment that we have had to live.
In this case the chosen one is a very significant work of Rene Magritte exposing a subtle play of color tones between the background and the mask.
Special Edition of 45 hand-numbered copies framed in the artist's… own workshop.
Note: The number of copy and certificate may vary from that of the photograph for security and logistical reasons, being exactly the same in all its other characteristics, stamps and signatures included.

« Art is the ultimate tool, you can create what you imagine, and each viewer can imagine what you create. »
Martin Eduardo Sigwald is a Spanish painter and photographer who has exhibited nationally.
