Silke Schwarzbach is a painter and draftswoman who trained at the Karlsruhe Art Academy and has held workshops in Mannheim. She uses oil on canvas as well as charcoal and crayon on paper. Her work is highly expressive; her works thrive on contrasts and bold strokes, and she experiments with unusual compositions. Her paintings incorporate personal memories and the inspirational aspects of the unconventional.
