About this artwork
This is the second work from the "Souldance" series. In the Souldance series, the soul literally dances across the screen. Everything is possible, nothing is neccesary. With every single picture in this series, the joy when the soul is dancing should be expressed. Very reduced in color, but all the more pronounced in expression. Using untreated cotton as a painting base creates a noble, matt overall impression. The off-white, slightly beige-looking… fabric also impresses with its naturalness. In addition to the black color, hand-sifted earth and dried clay from the artist's homeland come into play. After the painting process, the artist stretches the picture onto the stretcher by hand. Immerse yourself in the power of this work and let your soul dance!
