About this artwork
"The Kiss" - Homage to Gustav Klimt. In this work I worked with charcoal on linen to create a passionate yet simple abstraction of human connection. The minimalist lines and shapes embody deeply interwoven feelings and the intimacy of an embrace. It's about capturing emotions in their rawest form and creating an atmosphere of warmth and dynamism that enlivens any space. Powdery matt charcoal dances over linen. Depending on the incidence of light,… the color of the charcoal appears from black to anthracite to grayish. So that you can get the most accurate picture possible, I recorded the color intensities in the photos depending on the influence of light. Immerse yourself in the power of this work and let your soul dance! Work treated with fixative.
