Questo ritratto e' ispirato da una antica leggenda di Tenerife. Tratta di una bambina mandata a raccogliere pere in una zona montuosa esattamente " il Barranco di Badaloz" Non tornando poi a casa i genitori e tutto il paese la cercarono, invano senza, trovarla. Ma venti anni dopo, la bimba riapparse con le pere, per lei il tempo non era passato, ma per la sua famiglia e tutti gli altri erano passati venti lunghi anni.

Simona Marziani is an artist based in Spain whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, in France, Germany, Switzerland, China, Italy, and the United States. Her figurative works celebrate beauty, harmony, and the balance of shapes and colors. Marziani is also inspired by the diversity of different cultures, as well as Buddhism and Eastern philosophies. She primarily creates using oils, pigments, chalk, graphite, gilding, and collage on canvas.
