Landscape is made with wax crayons. Different shades were mixed. This material inspires me. Landscape is a special subject for me. I need a special mood, inspiration to paint a landscape. And each of my landscapes is made with special love.

Sitora Brejneva is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher in the field of data art from Uzbekistan, working at the intersection of contemporary art, cultural studies and visual storytelling. In her practice, she combines mixed media, textile interventions, graphics, installations and digital processes, creating multi-layered visual systems that explore the psychological and social aspects of human experience.
Brejneva’s projects focus on themes of freedom and constraint, the normalisation of crisis, fear, isolation, inner resilience and personal strength. She approaches these themes not as direct statements, but as spaces of experience where viewers confront their own inner states.
Her work operates across exhibition, residency, and institutional contexts, often developing as series-based projects that merge material craft with technological and data-driven methodologies.
