In this piece, I explored a burst of spontaneity with acrylic and ink, capturing a dance of form and color that seems to float whimsically on paper. As I layered the vibrant nets and abstract shapes, I imagined infusing a room with lightness and an invitation to daydream. The playful interaction of the elements in this artwork vibrates with an energy meant to inspire and uplift, perfect to enhance any living space with a splash of creativity and… joy.
I believe also that each net each form is consciousness moving from one area to another. One person to another.
Sonia Roseval, a self-taught painter and printmaker, combines the allure of nature with her love for meditation. Infusing her works with a spirit of experimentation, she daringly explores new creative territories, striking a balance between structure and artistic liberty. Her Japanese ink on paper artworks, boasting delicate lace-like patterns, exhibit insightful introspection and an affinity for mindfulness. Viewing her art invites a sense of unified consciousness and profound tranquility.
