About this artwork
I created this painting in anticipation of the 250th Anniversary of The United States.
This allegorical painting celebrates the ideals that have shaped the American experience and spirit.
A central feminine figure framed by the American flag, the bald eagle, national monuments, flowers, and globe symbolizes vision, resilience, dignity and global engagement. Through movement of my brushstrokes and employment of vibrant colors my work reflects on America’s… past while looking forward with hope, confidence and purpose.
